Just bought a first owner 120k km (75k miles) 2001 S60 manual 2.4T for cheap here in France, seems like I have some of those typical issues:
- worn upper engine mount
- lava auto-dim rear view mirror
- broken center cupholder-console flap
- broken fuel flap hinge
- very crumbly engine wiring casings
2001 S60 2.4T manual
It's not 'tuning' we're after, it's 'continuous improvement'...

Remember, people admitted to checking boxes for 2 cars OR for one car during their ownership OR one car combining the entire car's life.

Best of luck parameterizing the data.
You surely cannot be the "idiot moderator who crashed the poll" for you are the finest moderator any website could possibly have. Have a grand Thanksgiving.

No worries, Steve. I’ll restore it from a backup.

Polls are fragile and any change freaks them out.

Data restored to Nov 19 2018 on this poll. Sorry if you voted between then and today.

Moderators, please don't add options through the forum GUI. You can edit text in the textbox and the title, but not the poll itself.

We can add options, but it has to be done programmatically apparently. If we all agree that the addition(s) don't mean that the integrity of the poll is affected, let's do it. In other words, if we agree that this is just a list, not a statistically valid set of data that is dependent on the time window, let's go ahead and add items. I think this P2 poll qualifies as such... it's just a list.

Any thoughts?

ABS module.
Passenger window sliders.
EGR hose rotted.
Bought the car knowing ABS module was bad. Ordered from Xemodex, installed and working like new. Dealer was asking $3000 for 2003 xc70 and purchased for $1900 with 105000 miles. Passenger mirror motor points at sky when unlocking with remote, believe to be be a broken wire and will repair this weekend. Sliders took only about 20 minutes to replace. Replaced EGR hose with silcone hose, 5 minute repair.

Interesting to me that almost all of the high point items on this chart (except alarm??) are normal maintenance, wear & tear items, not poor design, engineering faults, or assembly quality.

There are so many takeaways from this poll's data it's hard to organize my thoughts and write them all down, but I think my #1 takeaway is this: cars are heinously complex machines.
