which is easier to replace spindle or bearing

I have a noisy wheel bearing.No slack at the wheel - it's tight both ways, but the thrumming noise is getting to be a bit much. I don't have a bearing R&R kit, but I think I can borrow one from Autozone, if the have the right kit. And I think that is the hang up - some kits won't fit underneath the bearing housing.
On the other hand, it looks like it would take less work to R&R the whole spindle / bearing, and I know of a vouched for spindle, from a well maintained, but rear ended 2015.

Looks like the wheel bearing is a press fit into the spindle/knuckle. Realistically, you will probably have to remove the spindle to push the old bearing out and similarly to install the new bearing. Looing at the price of an OE bearing, it will likely be way cheaper to try the used spindle if it is reasonably priced.

You can always keep the original spindle and if the replacement gets noisy you could always have it repaired and swap that back in.

Like many things like this, it will depend on your skill level and access to tools like a press.
