Had packed a few tools and parts when my parents moved. I was doing most of the work on our cars in their garage. Though they found a place about 1.5 years later I didn't find the Milwaukee impact till recently about 3 years. Of course the battery was dead and charger rejected the battery.
Saw something similar on Youtube. Since it only came with one battery I tried another brand with higher voltage. Tapped the battery wire a couple of time and then held for 5 or more minutes. Did this several times till the Milwaukee charger started to charge the battery. Haven't put it to use so won't know if the battery life is short but for now it's full bars.
