Do I need to pull my bumper cover off? '05 V70
Shown is a little parking lot ding someone gave me. If I push the bumper cover in, it stays for a few bumps. Should I pull the cover and reinsert the tabs?

I would try to get the tabs in place again. One side of my 2001 V70 is loose but stays in place.
A poor boy fix might be a rivet or screw.
Is the 64 a Valiant?

The front bumper is held in place by a torx screw at the rear, just inside the fender lip. The bumpers slide in and then the screw holds it in place as when you tighten it it pulls on a clamp rearwards to hold the bumper on to the mount. If the clips are broken it won't stay in place.

You don't need to pull the bumper off, but the torx screw Neil has mentioned is better to access when you take the wheel off.
