This might be a difference between EU and NA markets. Picture to follow.

When you say "I swapped the drivers side belt with a passenger side belt because it was frayed and I couldn't get any drivers side belts..." do you mean you swapped the fabric belt or the whole assembly?

Only the belt. When you unwind the roller, you can access the end of the end of the belt, which has a loop with a steel pin in it. When the steel pin is removed, the loop can be taken out of the roller (I used a zip tie to avoid the roller unrolling. This would be REALLY bad.) and the new belt inserted.jmartin919 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2024, 08:18 When you say "I swapped the drivers side belt with a passenger side belt because it was frayed and I couldn't get any drivers side belts..." do you mean you swapped the fabric belt or the whole assembly?

For the record: I replaced driver side seat belt assembly part number 9206500 on a 2000 S70 GLT SE with a 9160049 from a 98 V70. The replacement assembly had an extra bracket at the top that I left off, the bolt hole spacing is slightly different but no modification required, and I left the spring bale thing at the top off because I don't see the benefit and it just makes removing the pillar cover more difficult (maybe it keeps you from pulling the top of the cover too far out and breaking it further down?)
