Straight forward and just used jack stands as it was chucking down rain outside at the time so didn't want to take a car outside to give room to use the hoist.
Jacked passenger side up so tie was about 2" off the ground, and put a jack stand under the front sub-frame. Repeated for LHS.
Removed the undertray, and swapped the lower torque mount, retorqued it and refitted the undertray.
The decided to jack the rear LHS up in the air to allow access to the muffler join by the rear muffler just inward of the LHR tire.
Wire brushed the bolt and soaked with PB blaster in preparation for a new clamp arriving.
Dropped the car back onto the ground and called our son to move his car so we could settle the suspension. He climbed in and tried to start the car but it just churned over and no attempt to start. Engine check light came on. I opened the hood again and checked nothing obvious was loose as it sounded like no spark possibly. I then asked him to try again and it churned again. On the third attempt it coughed into life and ran normally. Check light was off and car was happy.
Switched car off and it restarted immediately.
Is there any form of anti-tilt device other than the roll-over valve that can cause maybe a cut to the spark?
Neil.
