VIDA and DICE availability ?

We have a great 2004 XC70 very low mileage, its been garage parked after a timing belt WP change, parked due to COVID, a snow bird car, so went to start it, no start, replaced fuel pump, now the SRS Airbag Urgent Service is on.
Myself and another fellow are considering getting the VIDA, DICE, question is, we will be working in this year range as I've switched to a Lucid, GM Elec. PU, but want this car for backwoods fishing exploring and my friend has several and is always having his eyes out for XC70-XC90 cars.
Seeing the online now would these older units be compatible with the pre 2015 tools, and any recommendation would be appreciated, we feel investing would be OK, as I need to reset the SRS and have the service light on forever, I just service at 5K and didn't reset the reminder, but as I change often (oil changes are crazy expensive, but not changing is pathetically crazy expensive)
Or is somebody updated and selling, there was a Denver CO something ....... NHL doing tools, anybody know if still active Thanks

As for dice, I got a Mongoose knockoff cable for $40. The specific listing I got is not available anymore, but there are similar (the same?) items still listed https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_id=226 ... ota&_sis=1

The one I got worked and seems to have full functionality.

david leaCH GIVES GOOD SUPPORT with HIS VIDA LAPTOPS AND sells tested dice units or mongoose cable.

last yr i bought the thumbdrive version, it boots its own drivers using any laptop with 4 mb ram.
