Is there an intake air temp sensor in an 88 740?

I ordered a MAF sensor from the Rock place and also added an intake air temperature sensor

Im looking all around for where it might be and searching. Can’t see any wires leading to or near my airbox
It has the air direction contraption for warmup via the exhaust manifold, I can’t see it around there , removed the grill

I don’t see it in the hose between mass meter and manifold

Did I buy a part that doesn’t even exist ?

I don’t know if I just can’t find it or if it simply doesn’t exist in my 88 740
It’s a b23F , non turbo, it has the distributor hall sensor and not the later , CPS
