2001 v70 T5 Hot start, misfires?, wont idle correctly
I’m having some hot start issues on my v70, when I start it, after it’s warmed up all the way trying to restart is hard. It turns on then dies, then when I press the gas it sounds like it misfires but eventually recovers with some persuasion. Also has weird acceleration issues after sitting at traffic lights when it’s hot outside. This has been going on for a while and it gets progressively worse the hotter it is outside. Everything on this car has been replaced, when I say everything, I mean everything, MAF, Camshaft position sensor, crank sensor, Iat sensor, etc sensor, plugs, coils, 02 sensors, recent valve job, brand new upgraded throttle body, it does have some performance parts on like d088 intercooler, snabb catless down pipe, v70r catback but this problem has been a problem before all this. Any ideas?

check for leaky injector by watching fuel pressure at the rail.
if fuel pressure drops when idling hot then the intake is vapor locking.
if yes, then pull the rail and watch the injectors to verify.
if no, them look to fuel pressure regulator, if it has one, bleeding pressure from the rail.

i was thinking an injector leaking into a hot intake, it can cause vapor lock.
leaking externally would ber vacuum loss, you can check by spraying a BIT of brake fluid or carb cleaner where you suspect a leak.
listen for idle rpm going up.

Mine is intermittently dying on a hot start also but doesn't stumble a whole lot. Do feel the ever so slight stumble while driving, like a very very small hiccup.
