1) this small nipple that the small horizontal vacuum time connects to (the other end is the other end of the intake manifold.
Should it go straight through? I can go in most of the way from the outside. From the inside I can feel an opening there the other end would go.
Can't get of any diameter poker I though there
Blowing compressed air through it it is completely blocked
I can't believe it would be so close to being manufacture straight through and not be open all the way straight through.
2) on this elbow pic, I'm thinking of making the hole bigger to give better suction (thought I read it on here somewhere). Ideas/thoughts? Max size etc?
1998 V70 - PCV stuff out, now what?

1 - It was just blocked. I took a drill and twisted it between my fingers and kept getting out solidified oil. I figured if I hit plastic I would reconsider the drill approach. eventually if busted through. The hole is full diameter all the way through.
2 - left it OEM size because I forgot about it by the time I had the thing back together. We'll see how it is and if it was good enough OEM shoudl be good enough now....we'll see. Its not too hard to get to and can pull it off without having to pull the manifold.

Now this officially sucks!...the glove!
Success!
Now for a test drive
Something I realized there are many failed glove glove test videos and not too many passing videos.
Before I knew what to look for I thought my glove test was ok since it didn't "blow up like a balloon animal". Since my was a limp/soft glove but full none the less only when seeing it being sucked in that one can see the difference.

You just saved 3-4 hours of work from a popped cam seal….and 15 hours of work from a popped RMS!

Fixing the PCV system service does not guarantee a fix on a leaking engine. It may help reduce the flow rate. See my comment on using a seal conditioner on your other post.
