Morning everyone,
It's the weekend and I find the time to feedback here.
First things first: the Car is driving again <3 !
(Cliché alarm: The joy of cruising down the river road in a revived vehicle (my friend bubble already gave up) on on a summer evening....)
I'd like to send a huge thank you to everyone here who has contributed. This was a motivation to keep pushing!
I need some time to write up the measures in a crisp and clear manner. But what I did was swap IMMO + ECM + VGLA from a 1997 donor. Included the VGLA then assuming there was a relation to the IMMO just to be safe. Going to put my original VGLA back in as a next step though.
Also planning to couple my original keys with the new IMMO (have PIN). Right now it's the donor key taped to the antenna ring tucked away.
@xanthefin
The original IMMO did not respond well to the live scan.
Need to dig through the logs then will send.
More soon...

Update on topic:
I drove the car approx 100km with the donor IMMO / ECM now.
Donor key taped to relocated antenna ring, original key in lock.
First starts are unsuccessful most of the time. Vehicle shuts down very quickly. This is the IMMO live log of these cases:
Next attempt is successful then, vehicle stays on. This is the IMMO live log of successful starts Not sure what causes this. I am taking time upon starts, leaving some time for the key to be read etc.
Could both keys interfere with each other? They're 10cm apart approx.
To eliminate this possibility (and for the sake of a clean installation) I'd like to make my original keys accepted by the donor IMMO. Got IMMO PIN and can successfully enter the section in 850OBDII where keys are managed in IMMO.
@Xanthefin
How can I know the key address to be entered there? Do I need to have my original keys read somewhere or can the app identify a keys address that is read at the antenna?
Thanks in advance!
Have a good day everybody.

Reader is very sensitive when you take it off as if ever played can see how little they give from right placement and when i example take off from 40 series Volvo it just doesnt work that antenna anymore as alone as it uses metal ignition as part how they are tuned in frequency too.
For that IMMO key data exchange.. i need say not yet as what you see is not full story of the key shortly on IMMO3 systems key needs be ready programmable for the car from Volvo though i can rip the necessary data from IMMO3 via App but not yet program back with an App (i only know bypass to far read but not yet program back all data)... and i havent included read part in app as not yet need.
IMMO3 and IMMO2 Volvo keys are locked too so cant reporgram them as alone with key programmers.
IMMO2 systems are more simpler and its more direct via App by that popup as key is not so cryptic.
I still slightly think its originally were those two relays inside IMMO on your case causing problems as you said IMMO live data was not so there... ECM no need change as all Fenix 5.2 answers same with the IMMO.

Good morning,
Thank you for the feedback.
I have since obtained another (3rd) IMMO 3 module from which I might harvest relais to transfer into my original unit then check for life signs. Will report here.
About the keys:
I thought that the key chip has a static dataset or ID that can be added into the list in apps IMMO key section.
I wasn't not going to reprogram the key.
Intention was to add the original key to the IMMO green-list. That not yet possible?
Have a nice day!
P.s. adding my current summary screen. We see that IMMO is struggling. Is there a way of purging the screen to scan anew from a clean sheet?

Yes Key ID's can be changed, modified, added or removed manually as you wish. But IMMO3 that ID is alone not enough. IMMO2 keys are dumper/simpler and this is what can be done and its enough what i mean sorry.
That Current Key in IMMO programmer view should show ID in Ignition at moment 00 shows there was error at reading or totally wrong kind of key chip. I might add Read button to try again read it.
In Settings Take off "Prevent Removing Scan Data" and do new Scan.
..but i must admit that DTC data not in my plan to keep even if its turned on and propably bug as recently i did notice it cleared all by accident at pressing Scan so i might have made bug there.. i will change that if its so.
But gives me idea just add button to remove it all just manually if want.
Have a nice day too!

Thanks for your reply!
So I need to transplant the chip into my existing keyset If I want to use the donor IMMO and lock, correct?
Adding such a "remove" button is a good idea
!
I would appreciate.
Cheerio
