Well Sveedy has picked up a little annoying issue. When cruising at a steady speed, if I lift my foot off of the accelerator pedal, the RPM's stay about the same - as if it was on cruise control. But if I just lightly tap the pedal, the RPM's drop to normal. It behaves exactly like a car with a carburetor where you'd tap the accelerator to kick down the choke. Doesn't do this all of the time, which is making it hard to diagnose.
Throttle cable was replaced awhile back, so it's good. Have cleaned the return spring area of the throttle body, which didn't make any difference.
Could the actual shaft in the throttle body be worn ? TPS ?

I would re-visit that throttle cable,especially if it is aftermarket.

Cable was from FCP. Blue bag. But I'll try fiddling with it. Maybe a little grease on the cable where it comes through the firewall wouldn't hurt.

Try removing the cable and run the engine holding the throttle on the rotating spring part and see if the engine stays at the same revs or drops off. That might help to identify if the cable or the mechanical part to and including the throttle body is at fault.

So I disconnected the cable from the throttle body and the pedal, and tried to see if it had any hangups. Seemed like the cable itself slid better one way than the other when rotated in the sheath. Put it back together, and it seems to be fixed. I won't really know till I drive it a bit.
