Double din stereo

ok so i bought a double din stereo today and i want to install it tonight, the question i have is.....

do the guide brackets for the stock stereo come out?

the reason i ask instead of look is that i installed a single din streo and if i want to take it out I will likely break the mounting bracket kit in the process of removing it. i almost broke it putting it in.
