3D Printed Tape Player Repair

Post by Swedebrickinneed »

Thought you guys might enjoy my tape player repair. The entire time I’ve owned the car, when you would insert a tape, it would just continually try to flip the tape without being able to play it. After a tear down, I realized the band was snapped, and two gears broken, one new band and 2 printed gears later, she’s revived!

I’m just happy to be around at the same time as 3d printing, it makes small things like this so fun, and my wagon benefits greatly!

Do you plan to publish the gear model? It might be useful for other people as well.

I personally like Printables ( https://www.printables.com ) and have published my models there.

https://www.printables.com/model/980593 ... adio-gears Here's a link, I've stayed away from posting most of my models generally but with the amount of help I've found online for my car over the years that have saved me countless times, I'll have to make an exception for Volvo parts. Your collection of models is nice btw, intrigued by the Ev70 Conversion
