2004 V70 ~140K miles Durham, Raleigh, Cary NC...how much is this worth?

Ok,

Daughter lives in Cary NC. A little "scraping incident".

Ins Co totaled it ~140K miles. Everything works. She does not want to keep it, so if anyone wants it, DM me.

I wonder how much is the fair price for this (still drivable)?

Damages shown:
- LR door
- LR wheel arch
- Will put the spare tire on soon.

This car was used in many DIYs here (Axle boots, heater core, timing belt, front suspension Bilstein, rear suspension Bilstein, serp belt, thermostat, PCV etc etc).

Engine runs fine.

Trans: zero issues.

Four brand new Conti tires (17"), except for the LR.

Brand new Volvo front brakes.

Brand new battery.

Interior is Black, all leather seats in perfect condition.

Sure, we can send this to local junk yard for $700 or so.

But I'd rather have this go to a Volvo enthusiast in the Triangle area of N Carolina...

I am thinking a "new" LR door from junk yard.
Then some body work (Bondo etc) to cover the wheel arch.
Just bare minimum work.

I sponsored a refugee family here, too bad it is not here (~ 1300 miles from NC to Nebraska), otherwise I can patch it up and donate to them.

The weather shows rain most of the week here in RTP so it's going to be a low level flood if that gap is not sealed well.

Wow, so sorry to see that and hope your daughter is okay. Providentially had two car, 00 S70 SE & 09 S60 2.5T AWD, similar to yours in like new condition involved in accidents this year.

1) If that B pillar and door latch area are both bent as in the uni-body, it's not going to be just a door and bondo. Took our 09 S60 2.5T AWD with 120K miles to a reputable body shop for an estimate ($9K) and found they had an approve Progressive Estimater. Progressive found their insurer totally at fault and the car is being totaled.

2) Got a quote for $400 for my 03 S80 T6 with around 140K miles. I took the battery so they only paid me $380.

I'm in the RTP area so if you need help with your car PM me and I'll see what I can do as it's raining pretty much all week.
