2005 s80 issue with lock and unlock

With the fob or with the key itself my car sometimes refuses to lock or unlock. Up until today it was just the fob that would glitch (replacement battery didn’t help). Now it will not even open with the key sometimes. Or lock with the key for that matter. Randomly it will start working again.

Tested the fuse, but it lights up as working. Even when the car wouldn’t unlock any of the doors, the trunk opened with the fob. (Breaking into my own car from the trunk while in a department store parking lot was super fun, especially when the alarm went off when I opened the door.)

Any “glitch fixes” anyone can suggest? (Yes, as someone with only minor repair skills this is probably a job for my mechanic. But it’s the weekend, and my only car and it’s not an easy car to get into through the trunk.)
