New subscriber to this group but have enjoyed reading the threads for years. I'm needing to take advantage of your expert knowledge!
My 2010 V70 2.0 diesel has been in and out of the garage for a few months now. Initially the turbo blew so got a new one and a replacement (second hand) engine. I have had a new EGR valve fitted and the glow plugs are only a year or so old. The problem is she is 'hunting' almost constantly.
I have ran diagnostics a few times oerv the past week (just to check for consistency) and I get the following 2 failts:
- P003A17: Turbocharger Boost Control A Position Exceeded Learning Limit. General Electrical Failures. Circuit above threshold.
- P038000: Glow Plug/Heater Circuit A. General Failure Information.
Are these simple enough fixes for a simple enough chap like me?! I have spent well over £1300 (including labour) and I am at my wit's end. I have very little hair and I am in danger of losing that and having to concede I may be going bald.
Any help greatly appreciated
