DIM CEL light not lighting up.
So I have a 2005 S60, the DIM is -210T model with the white plug. Today I disassembled it, thinking it has bulbs in the back, well it didn't. It seems like the symbols(on the right side when you power on the vehicle in POS II) are illuminated by individual LEDs, so now what?

Sounds like a feature, not a problem. Kidding. Do any of them work? Lamp check happens when you go to pos2 from no key in..

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.

Most of them work, but no the Check Engine light, I also notice the fog lights (not sure if rear or front) symbol also does not illuminate, though my front ones do not work because of issues I have not taken care of yet. Everything else seems to work.

LED may have gone bad. If It's a Xemodex rebuild I bet they would fix the LED for you. Should be easy enough to solder

I am not anywhere near the American continent so yeah. But I can repair it myself so long as someone knows the exact LED SMD component? As long as it that is indeed the issue.

You can use multimeter diode mode to check led is fine and then test it like how ECM should light it up via connector (if not then on PCB of DIM search broken connections) and then search and blame ECM or wiring between ECM and DIM for it not lighting up.
