Air suspension compressor relay

Post by rcrevo »

Hi Everyone, Happy New Year to you.
My air suspension has come up with service required (2016 XC90 R design), my mechanic at work thinks the compressor has siezed up. He has replaced the compressor with a new one and has a new fuse and relay ready to go in as well (as thats what we read it requires changing as well) but we cant find out anywhere which relay it is to replace in the cargo compartment. The fuse is listed as 40amp in slot 3 but nothing for the relay. Does anyone have any ideas on this location, and the procedure once its changed to get rid of the air suspension service light please?
Many thanks, Andy

Thanks Jim but unfortunately that one is for the mk1 (upto 2014) not the 2016 model. It’s tough to find anything on it or the correct procedure for fitting a new one and if anything special needs doing. Thanks for your help though 👍

This common fault can be solved by replacing the compressor fuse and compressor.
