Man, what a mess….
Parked our car with no problems, and had a bad battery…. Purchased 2 new batteries, accessory and crank… Installed….
Now I have “limited electrical power,” such as; seat power, locks, windows, and interior lights, brake lights, windshield wipers, hazards, etc……
The dash doesn’t even light up, nor does the radio console… no crank… nothing…
When you adjust the start/stop knob into the start position, you can hear the throttle body valve opening and closing, but THAT. IS. IT…..
Help me, please….
New Batteries (both) Interior Lights work, but no dash or crank on 2016 Volvo XC90

Did all the battery cables get connected correctly and tight? Any corrosion on the terminals cleaned?

Does your car have those stupid fusible links? If so, it sounds like the one for the BCM has cracked and failed. Can you run a jump cable from one side to the other of it?
