[SOLVED] eBay clone DICE behavior. Did I get a broken one? [SOLVED]

Hi all.

I got myself a DICE clone off eBay for ~$150. This is the specific one I got:

Could someone please tell me what a working DICE clone's default behavior is when you plug it into the OBD port of your Volvo?
Mine does not do anything except display the green power LED.

I am starting to suspect I received a dud.
My eBay return window is coming up in 2 weeks, so I want to make sure I initiate a return if that is the case that I received a bad product.

EDIT: Seller sold me a fake clone. Got a full refund and got a D5T5 DICE replacement.

It has been known for a while that these have gone too cheap and do not in fact work at all.

Should go for Mongoose JLR.

It was a fake. I got a full refund from the seller.

Absolute bastards these days...

eBay is very pro-buyer now. Ten years ago this return would have been difficult or impossible.

Good to hear you’re returning it whatever the case. Try David Leach here in Denver. He’s been selling these for a while.

I actually returned the clone, and the seller issued me the refund before I even got a chance to ship it out or him even receiving it.
It's still on the way, but I have my money back.

That just goes to show you that sellers are aware they are selling fake products and are just hoping people don't use them before the 30 day return window. Which is what almost happened to me--I almost didn't get a chance to test it out (other projects going on, etc).

Anyway, all's well that ends well. The d5t5 device is coming to me via Fedex, next week.
Should have done this from the start...
