You dont know how happy i was to discover that feature at random night just last year? by myself after work day when my back was hurt and neighbor had parked again too close in parking slot. I almost forgot my hurting back when i just walked through back door without much effort and stumble through due how much space it gave.

The current V90ies. I wouldn't advice a car close to 30 years of age to someone in a wheelchair. We've all been down this road, at this age anything can and eventuell will happen and being in a wheelchair will possibly make even small hiccups a big endeavour.

Right. Were talking a pampered, low-mileage 2016 Golf, or a restored car with parts and local mechanic support, or almost new (although I'm suspicious of most of the almost new stuff out there).

Moms Golf has only 10k on it but I did find a home with a family member. Good attitude. When I told her it was a stick shift she said, “for a free car, I’ll learn”

It actually has the hill holder so the nemesis of early shifters , the hill start, is a non issue
