Hi, I am new to this forum so 'Hello!' to everyone :D
For the last cuople of days I was reading through this thread and I have a question about programs made by t5Luke, does anyone tried to use it with different interface than DiCE?
I bought D5T5 Super J2534 some time ago and was wondering if it's possible to make it work witth UDSread or CEM Tool?

Nie ma takiej możliwości, te programy działają tylko z DiCE. There is no such possibility, these programs work only with DiCE.

Hi everyone,

I successfully obtained the CEM PIN for block 30786889 using a Teensy 4.0 and two SN65HVD230 transceivers. The process was straightforward, thanks to @vtl and the code he generously shared with the community.

Now, I'm looking for guidance on modifying the CEM configuration to, for example, switch the radio to an HU-850 or add an amplifier.

From what I understand, this requires reading the CEM dump, hex-editing specific bytes in the configuration (including updating the checksum), and writing the modified dump back to the CEM. I found @T5Luke's CEMtool, but it seems to support only pre-2004 models, while mine is a 2007 Volvo.

Is it possible to use the Teensy 4.0 to read/write the CEM dump via OBDII? Or is there a tool that can safely edit the CEM configuration and handle the checksum calculation? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Hi!

@shch there was a tool from @T5Luke called CEMtool 320kb CEM MY2006-.exe that can read and change config for newer cars, but I couldn't figure out how to change config with it. I was able to read the config, change parameters, but pressing Programm button did not write new config to car. Car just went into programming mode for short time and when came out was still with orginal configuration. Maybe I did something wrong.

Hi friends. Can anyone help with SBL files for P2 and P3 platforms. I need for CEM, BCM P2 and all for P3. If anyone can help, I promise not to distribute.

@vtl

If we need a Teensy with fast clocks to detect CAN line jitter and side channel brute force the pin for CEM. How can VDASH do the same with a simple Mongoose JLR?

Earlier versions of CEM we need to send to Vdash office , so they desolder flash or use probing needles (as T5Luke's method with Arduino board). If I remember correctly fee for readout CEM PIN is 10€ + shipping
