I have come across this thread for a while back that covers the same type of question:

viewtopic.php?t=52432

The dimensions of the bearing are the same as the P80 bearing and P3 version using the above part numbers??

Dimensions: 45mm x 75mm x 19mm wide.

From the thread it would appear that the bearing removal and fitment is the same as a P80 version?

You should order the bearing and report back later.

I noticed when looking at these bearings with the 45mm X 75mm X 19mm dimensions there are a couple of different types, curved OD and flat OD. On Ebay the Volvo axle bearing is a flat OD type while the Ford axle bearing with same dimension is a curved OD type, although hard to tell any difference from the photos. I only mention this because when you cross reference the bearing part numbers sometimes the curved type comes up and other times the flat type comes up, based on the photos. I have an old Volvo P2 passenger side axle and it looks like the axle bearing has a flat OD. I don't know if you can use either type but thought I mention the difference.

I bought a couple of the Ford versions out of Turkey many years ago for around $10 US with free shipping. I see bearings in the UK for around that price too today.

Anyway, the Ford ones I got did not show they had a curve to them. I did check them that the most important thing was the bearing holder flange has a lip that is high enough the side of the bearing is still held in. There is one running on a V70 I had that has maybe 30-35,000 miles on it since installing and so far running well. I have also fitted the other to my spare V70R axle.

Tried dropping in on what Google listed as a local SKF office when looking for bearing suppliers locally. Turned out they are a development office only. They gave me a list of places that are retailers of SKF products locally. Looking at them all they look like industrial but not automotive suppliers. I will try a couple. There is though a transmission specialist that looks like they may be a better bet.

I have asked a friend who just pulled an axle from his son's S60 today to measure the bearing to see if the measurements tie up as I suspect.

My friend sent me the info. Basically the dimensions come out as 45mm x 75mm x 19mm as per P80 and P3 versions. I'll order one and see if it works and update here once I know for sure.
