Multimedia 2din radio(Android auto) C70 1998

Hello guys,

I'm new here this is my first post.

I had a question i have a 1998 c70 with a sc901 Dolby surround system i would like to fit a newer 2 din multi media head unit with android auto.

Also some of my speakers are non functional and I've looked on crutch field(im not in the us but the site is neat!) and it says that every aftermarket speaker needs modification. Is it like the 850 ?

I've read somewhere that i would need an adapter harness and bypass the stock amp in the back ?

Do you really want that? The headunit slots are quite low, I don't think I would be able to see or use anything with a touchscreen down there very well.

Vparts.se has some speakers, but I am not sure what you need for the c70. I recently did a speaker upgrade on my 850, but I think the sizes are different. I recommend you take off the covers and measure the speakers and then start looking.

Not sure about the amp - you will need to look at it imo. on the 850 I could simply disconnect the amp (I don't remember exactly, but I believe it was just plugged in between.)
