Hi everyone, it is as the title says. I removed every fuse and relay under the radio and the draw remains. I also disconnected the starter, hoping it was some sort of short in there, but still it reads 3.5 Amps. The battery was dying overnight and I began measuring current and got 31mA until I tried started the car and it went up to 4.6 Amps, didn't turn over, and then the draw stayed at 3.9 Amps and dropped lower to 3.5 Amps as time went on. Could this be some module that woke up and won't shut off? I'm really quite baffled by this. I was hoping for some information before I start separating out wires. and tracing this down, hopefully it doesn't go back to being intermittent.
Thank you everyone!
3.5 Amp parasitic draw with all fuses and relays removed, '94 940T
Update: It was the alternator!! I saw an old comment mentioning that common causes include the alternator diode, so I disconnected it and boom! The draw is gone! Plugging the relays back in are going to be the hardest part of this job now.
