Rear cam sensor replacement '05 v70 n/a
I am getting codes (PO365 and another) that my rear (exhaust?) cam sensor is faulty. The only video I can find indicates removal of the top motor mount, the crossbar and an aluminum top housing before removing the cover of the sensor. Now that I have got it out, it appears the sensor could be removed without all that work. This by removing the one screw holding the sensor. Has anyone done this? Is it necessary to replace the plastic housing the sensor rests in? If that is necessary, it is another ball game.

I may have spoken too soon. I found a video which suggests that the rear sensor can be removed by removing one 10mm bolt. I do wish they had shown the operation as the bolt position is difficult. But replacement of the sensor is about the same as the front sensor, just more difficult to reach.

getting access is the real work, removal is nothing. Its just a small torx bolt on mine.Faust wrote: ↑19 Nov 2024, 15:17 I may have spoken too soon. I think you do have to remove the motor mount to get to the exhaust sensor on RN engines, 99-
