Hello all,
Recently i posted a topic about the alternator replacement on my 1998 v70xc everything went well with that replacement i also installed a new idler pulley and also i installed a new serpentine belt tensioner assembly tonight However one of the bolts while i was tightening it down felt like it was going to snap in half to i immediately stopped toquring down on it do you guys have an idea of what size these 2 bolts are that hold the serpentine belt tensioner assembly to the bracket? i have been looking all over the net and cant find out anything thanks in advance.

Try this drawing. #23 is what I think you want. Volvo bolts are normally 8.8 grade bolts. If you have the old bolt, most good bolt suppliers should be able to match it. It is likely an M8 or M10 bolt and a 1.0 or 1.25 thread pitch flange bolt.
