Does the 2015 5 cylinder engine have the cracked piston ring problem the 2016 engine had?

I'm looking at a 2015 xc60 and need to know if the 5 cylinder engine could have the same cracked piston ring problem my son's 2016 xc70 5 cylinder had. Any info is appreciated.
