Y'know, I really like this sweet little coupe. People are always sending me BaT or Hemmings links for this $45,000 car or that $75,000 car or this $25,000 rolling shell with no drivetrain. I can't afford any of that. And they're all mostly what?...good-looking 2-door coupes with a 4 cyl, rear wheel drive, and they're old.

You could always put in a warmed up B20 and an overdrive, but maybe that's not what this car is about.

The listing dealer says the car was media blasted and the epoxy primer was applied as powder coat.

250...??? Yike.

There are great original competition Sebring V8's and a lot more copies out there. They're cool. A nice MGB GT is 20k or less. The pieces are fiberglass and not that much. A rover V8 can be had and built. All kinds of British hotrod parts available. Motor mounts.
What's so special about that one, other than they overpaid?

The law of diminishing returns kicks in after say $25 grand. I don’t get it.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

It's because some of us are truly addicts. The money doesn't really enter into the equation for them as it would for you or me.
Sometimes it's closer to love than logic.
Try to learn life's bad lessons vicariously through others.
