$740 for a dealer key on a 04 XC90

Flame job: So I just sent this letter for my Tacoma dealership. I'm offended!

"I just spoke with a nice man at the parts department. A replacement key for my son's 04 XC90 is $275 for the remote, $127 for the shaft, $270 for programming, which totals $740 with tax. This is some kind of mental and moral dysfunction by Volvo. A replacement key should cost a top $100. YOU know this is gouging your customers, corporate knows this is gouging their customers, and the rest of us know this is gouging us.
This is the worst possible way to run a business. I'm glad I've never purchased a volvo direct from a dealership, and I will be sure to let all my friends know that Volvo is robbing their own customers. This is a $50 job with $50 in parts, and we all know it."

I know I'm just joining the chorus of people complaining about dealer prices, but this is borderline direct robbery. Volvo corporate is sick.
