Will be checking this week. I wonder about compression as well.

Don't buy anything until you confirm the engine is either locked or compression is bad.

Finally got around to checking things out. Low compression.

Not sure what to do now. replacing engine or taking head off by myself is impossible at the moment. No tools or space to work on it.

Anyone knows a mechanic in north IL that might be willing to help out and take this job of replacing engine/engine head rebuild for some normal fee?

Replacing engine is cheaper than rebuilding engine.
