Odometer 1992 940

Hello, I have a 1992 940 with a faulty odometer; speedo works so it is getting a signal from the sensor and the wiring to the cluster is fine. Problem is in the instrument cluster. Any good used ones out there or does anyone know if there is a repair facility that works on these older units? Thanks

Many of these old odometers failed when a plastic gear aged out and broke. I have replaced a couple on 240 Volvos.
It appears odometergears.com https://www.odometergears.com/ does not have a fix for the 940.

The gear repair is fiddly but doable.

Thanks so much for your input. My cluster is a Yazaki not a VDO. I have had problems with many of these through the years and now they are like hen's teeth, hard to find. Be well.

Can you just replace cluster with a VDO? Or maybe the odometer/speedometer portion? Sorry if stupid question, all my experience is with 240s.
