A thought came to me. What about an all-purpose light oil?
This is a lampshade from the 1970s. It's textured on both sides. I'm no glassologist, but I'd imagine finding the same glass to replace the panel would take until the end of the universe.

Perhaps an auto glass shop can fix with the stuff they use to repair windshields. The last windshield I had fixed, a starburst rock ding, cost $50.

Maybe just super glue in the crack and clean faces with razor blade?
