1st time poster: I am trying to install Vida2014d on Windows 10 Pro, we have gone through full installation process, following instructions to the letter; running setup.exe in compatibility mode for Windows7 and installing SQL Express R2.
It starts the installation but on the final screen we get the following error message;
An error occurred while upgrading Microsoft Sql Express 2005 to Sql Express 2008 R2.
VIDA NOT OK
We have followed instructions on cleaning the laptop of VIDA & previous SQL installations, run CCleaner too, this has now happened twice and we cannot fathom the solution, re-installed VIDA and SQL express but still get the same error message!
Apologies if this subject has been covered, we have scoured the forum for answers but not found any! Getting desperate now!
