As titled.
Installed two brand new lower control arms up front.
Lower ball joint is torn trying to get the LCA the F out of the way for massive axle & power steering jobs.
What generic replacement boot could I get?
The model specifically I installed on driver side is a Moog RK620596.
Or does anyone know the approx diameter of the top and bottom for the LBJ on this chassis?
I’m away and hoping to order one so it’s ready to go when I return.
This car I had to install 5 axles until I finally got a used medium mileage axle from Erie VoVo that actually fit correctly (AWD AT rare car 2005 V50).
I am not installing a new lower control arm to fix this. I’ll saw off the LBJ and bolt in a new one before dealing with the LCA again.
Thanks!

Answering my own question.
Volvo ball joints of the V50 come in only two sizes small and large.
Small means “18mm” for aftermarket makers. That’s 15mm size on the top of the LBJ boot and 18mm at the bottom of boot.
VOLVO calls their larger size “18mm”. But they really mean 18mm at top size and 21mm diameter on the bottom of the boot.
Weird but I cribbed this from SwedeSpeed forum.
So this generic (small) size is what I’m gonna chase for a replacement boot.

Actually I have no idea on the lower diameter of the ball joint. Can't be bothered to ad even more work to this very problematic time sucking car. If anyone knows... let me know.
Otherwise going to go to junkyard and pull off a boot and pop out the LBJ again and put replacement boot on it.
Too unknown to randomly buy boots for Amazon of unknown fitment.
