Programming Garage Door Opener

Post by matonanjin »

Anyone know a reliable source on how to program the buttons on the mirror to sync (work) with one's garage door opener?  There are a lot of them out there.  One has you press  the button on the mirror, then push the training button on opener and then within 30 second push and hole the mirror button.  Another has you push the training button and, again with in 30 secondws, push the mirror button.  And yet another has you push the raining button and run to the car and push the mirror button for 2 seconds, 3 times.  ad infinitum

Somehow I got 1 button programmed. We have 2 garage doors.   But I can't duplicate it.

I have spent way more time on this than it should take.  Any source that works would be appreciated.

BTW, this is for a 2020 S60

Are your garage door mechanisms the same? When door systems went to a rolling code security, cars of a certain age do not work with those newer doors. I had to add a interface to get it to work. Not even sure if they are still made.

You may also need to press the coding (sync?) button on your garage opener. Check your opener instructions.
