With fuse in place, battery loses charge after 3-4 days. Fuse #28 removed= battery good for weeks so far.
I live in a very small rural town about 2 hrs from a dealer.
Any suggestions as where I or a local mechanic should start?
Thanks

You already narrowed it down to a fuse. Great work. If you have the garage I would recommend to park the car inside the garage, connect external battery charger so the battery stays alive, open front doors and then manually lock the door locks(so the car will think that it is closed, but you will be able to have access inside). Rent or obtain thermal camera(topdon sell nice units that can connect to your phone for about 130-200). And after car set overnight to fully "cool" look around the interior with the thermal camera. Something will be "hot". Most likely radio, or aftermarket equipment(remote start, GPS tracker, dash cam, charging wire for the phone that is internally failing, etc. ) then let us know what you find and we can go from there.
