Parameters of the tapping screw of engine undertray (1997 V70)

Hello!

So I have a question about V70 P80 engine protection plate mounting screws. I just bought the plate, but just got information that there are no tapping screws on the warehouse and I should wait for about 20 days to get these 5 mounting screws to here Estonia. These seem to be some special inner-torx headed tapping screws to me.

So my exact question is if someone could tell me the exact dimensions of these screws so I could buy them from a local hardware shop.

As I know so far, the OE-code of the screw is 986122. The exact length should be 13 mm and thread size 6,3 mm as I read from skandix.de. But I can't figure out or find information from anyhere about the diameter of screw's thread like is it a M6 screw, M4 screw or which? Or maybe can someone tell the size/diameter of the hole where this screw sits in.

May someone more familiar with these P80 Volvos help with that please? I just need the correct parameters of the screw to buy them from local hardware market.

The information is on Skandix website. 13mm long, 6.3mm diameter inner torque screw.

The two holes marked with blue arrows bolt into the tabs which are already on the subframe. Just get two short bolts that fit the threads.

The three holes marked with red arrows need to be drilled into the subframe

I used three self tapping hex bolts similar to this. They were around ½" long

I later removed the self tapping hex bolts and fitted Rivnuts with bolts the same size as the other bolts

I like the Rivnut solution with bolts better than the self threading bolts. Are there no mounts at the back of te unit or does it tuck in somewhere so not needing bolts?

It tucks into the rear of the subframe

6.3 diameter? That's a thing? Is it actually a 1/4 inch bolt?

Likely. SAE on a Volvo post 1990's?
