I am going to replace the timing belt of my 2017 V90 D5 myself. I have already done this once on a golf and with the right tools it is time consuming but good to do.
There were several films available for the golf, for the D5 I have only found only a few relevant video's but enough.
I will use the Continental kit: CT1216WP3
I've contacted Volvo's warehouse for parts and asked about the timing belt set (part number 32298420 = belt kit without the water pump) Talking about the water pump he said that Volvo only replaces the water pump when it's leaking, therefore the Volvo set does not contain the pump itself. Strange, but saves some work...
About the job:
Removing the engine support/mount is no problem, with a jack underneath the oilpan to hold it.
However, I am still looking for the torque values of the bolts in the photo. If I'm correct, the torque values of the yellow colored bolts are as described in the picture and do not require any additional angle of fastening.
Can somebody help me please with the torque values and angles (if applicable) of the bolts with the red arrows?
Some of the bolts need to be replaced (get extra tension) any part numbers would also be appreciated.
Thanks!
