Recommended adhesive for ETM plate for Volvo S70 2000 S70

Hi I have a failure of ETM due to the buttetfly flap stuck opened. I have dismantle the unit and manage
to clear the stuck by sanding the aluminium wheel.
I have reinstalled the unit and seeking advice
what type or brand of glue to be used to seal the back the rectangular stanless cover pate on the ETM.

Sealant? Like gasket maker? Also you do know that the pins to that sensor were not only soldered, but also spot welded, right? Cause solder cracks. So take care.
