Seeking a repairable OEM exhaust VVT hub p/n 9497786 original on many P2 turbo models. These frequently wear in a manner that increases end play resulting in cam seal leaking. Replacement is frequently recommended but they are spendy. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... 90-9497786
So if you have replaced one but haven't discarded the old one, I can put it to good use. If the hub had excessive axial (end) play, it is most likely repairable with disassembly and machining. If it has radial (wobble) play, repair is not economical.
I am currently repairing one but have several more lined up for friends/family, so I'd like an extra to repair and have ready on the shelf. Will happily pay a nominal price plus shipping.

Hi, don't know if you're still interested in getting the camshaft adjusting hub. I got the one I took off my car still in my junkyard. Rust free. I had to replace it because of oil leak not knowing it wasn't fixed properly. Only found out after getting a new one, so I just stick with the new one.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm interested. But I could only use it if it is Volvo OEM part number 9497786. Should have been made by INA in either Germany or Romania. Thank you. Jim
