'92 850 Key Fob only flashes the blinkers, does not unlock. Topic is solved

My car did not have the relay needed, I sourced it from another car. Do i need the Central Locking Relay as well? Can someone with experience tell me.

You should take a look at central locking system wiring diagram...i think that you should have the relay.
Does the car have factory alarm system(Volvo guard)?

The car came with a remote, but without the double relay. It has the LED on the dash.

I got the relay from a parts car I have, that had the double relay. Installed it and the programming procedure worked but the locks don't move.

My plan is to try and get the central locking relay from the other car.

I do have it in my own car but I guessed there could be some differences.

Can you post a picture of your whole dashboard?
Early cars didn't had that led on center of dashboard by the windshield.

Mine is a 1992, and it does have it. It also has one next to the buttons. It does not flash though.

I can't post a pic since the car isn't with me, its due for a suspension service.

I can snap a pic in the weekend.

Post it...i'm curious since i never seen a '92,'93 & early '94 with it.

Late '94 and after...yes with two types of LED by the windshield.

That key fob that came with a car...is it original Volvo fob or aftermarket?

Strange...i'm still waiting for a picture of whole dash.
That led indicator by the windshield too.

Does car have ecc or mcc?
