Just to complete VolvOCD for P80

NA: no ejector
GLT, XC70 , R: ejector
T5 : no ejector

This also means the last hard pipe from inter cooler to ETm is different for these cars

Well I installed the timing belt today, and that exhaust vvt hub is a challenge. Following instructions, I set and tightened the hub 1 tooth retarded from the mark on the cover. Then when I went to install the belt, I cranked the hub clockwise to its limit. But I see that I am 3/4 - 1 tooth past the mark now. Is this taken up in the hub, or should I loosen the gear, rotate it one tooth counterclockwise and reinstall ?

Decided to go ahead and loosen things up and set that gear a tooth back. Going to wait till I have a second set of hands to help hold things.
850's are without a doubt easier to do this on. I hope there is a noticeable difference in operation with the VVT that makes it all worth while.

You get a nice HP boost with VVT. It can take a few tries to get it snicked in but it’s worth it

Assuming my S70 GLT was the same engine as what you're working with, in your V70, I still miss it.

I still think the LPT engine is a sweet spot for these cars. Then the NA, finally the HPT (so why do I own an HPT?........)

I was a little surprised to see 15" wheels on it. That probably contributes to some of the torque as well.*

And I realized that I am missing the charge pipe from the turbo to the intercooler. So another trip out to the junkyard tomorrow

* Edit - I don't think this is true. My bad.

Figures. The yard decided to crush the two V70's that I had been harvesting parts from. Seems a tad unfair, since they had only been there for about 4 months, but there are hulks of garbage out there that have been picked over for years. So now I guess I will try and find one ( posted in classified section ), or have an exhaust shop bend one. I guess I could even use a piece of flexible exhaust tubing to get by till I find one. But I don't think I should try and fire this car up till I have that addressed. Kind of a drag, as most everything else should be put back together by sometime next week, and I'll finally be able to turn the key and see what happens.

Use the web store to get the part number you need and post it up in classifieds. There are both metal and rubber parts there so we need to know which you need
