Window position after replacement

Post by TonyEs »

IMG_2369.jpeg
Hi folks,

Does anyone here know how to get the one of windows in the right position after replacing it? Vida does say how to replace it but not how to calibrate it so it fits properly in the rubbers and no water gets in. I have replaced it but Some water is coming in now, not much, but still. Hopefully someone knows! Can't find anything anywhere!

IF your regulator is not bend or damaged and remounted in the original mounting holes, the window should be properly aligned after installed.
Where is it leaking?

Thanks for you comment.

The regulator is still intact and good. The window does not adjust itself. I have now adjusted it by measuring the window on the other side in relation to the rubbers in the half closed position of the door then you can see how far the window should be from the rubbers. However, there is still a small gap at the top left between the window and the rubber. Manual adjustment is just a shit job and in vida there is nothing to be found about it. (Crazy). It can be fixed in different ways and there is only 1 that is correct. So I through maybe there is an way by vida that I dont know….
