2nd one, looks like most of my projects!

By any chance it is in your garage??

It is not something I have any idea of, but certainly looks an interesting design. The front suspension is unusual and even the driveline is novel in looks with the large bellhousing either on the back of the engine (so the transmission is at the rear axle) or the connection to the rear axle is certainly unusual.

I'm going to guess Vauxhall Viva. I had one for a very short time, not a very interesting car so it didn't stay around long.
I'm wondering about the three CB like antennas on that car and what is the purpose of them?

I'm wondering about the three CB like antennas on that car and what is the purpose of them?

CB radios were very popular in the US in the 1960s-1980s. No big rig truck required. Someone I knew had one when I was around 10, and we got on it one day saying goofy kid stuff when we heard voices on a channel. We were keying the mic and laughing and saying stupid crap, and then another party said to the 3rd party that "someone's walking all over me," meaning their conversation was getting interrupted.

CB was an option on Volvo 240s even. It was integrated with the radio and had a mic on a coiled cord. I saw one in person in a 240 circa 2011 here in Denver.

My dad was a geologist. We had an old school Bronco to get way back into the mountains and often above 12,000' on mining roads that were no longer roads. He and I almost rolled off a mountain with no trees to stop you for 1000'. When we got home he put a roll bar in (like maybe that would have saved us...?)

Way pre-cell phones, and a walkie-talkie radio had limited range, especially in canyons. He decided he should get a CB radio mounted under the dash just in case. He never used it, but it was there.

I'm pleased and honored that I got the Datsun truck! - but I thought the picture was a sedan! I noticed the driver crammed against the roof and thought, UH oh, what is he doing?! Matt's picture reminded me that I read Pininfarina consulted with Datsun on design, so the truck and sedan had that nice smooth nose and that very Pininfarina crease down the side.



OK, on the mystery Brits I posted. Last chance, I though Neil would get it.
The curvy little coupe is a Lotus Elite, a car with a stressed fiberglass unibody shell with subframes (can you imagine??), a screaming twin cam 1600, and very few pounds to haul around, so it was fast and agile. Cost WAY too much to build and not many were made.

The second one, the frame with loose engine, is a Morgan! Who knew? I would never recognise the frame and I don't know their engines at all, so I was surprised. Through the firewall you can just spy some wood floorboards. They built wood ribs and frames to support the metal bodywork, this is just the chassis. Could be 50's or 60's, I'm just guessing.
