Yep at the moment there are only 2 choices I would be willing to make. XeModex or a factory rebuild by Volvo.

It's a shame that the XeMopdex website only has the back of 3 worker's heads at the moment (perhaps they're upgrading the site) http://xemodex.com/ Seems there's no way into the site

Cross post to ScottyRocks/ SwedeSpeed disassembly of the 36050563 improved ETB

This a Swedish made, contactless ETB that is reported to have universal software loaded , and I have verified that on three cars NA -NA and torso-turbo work. The NA-turbo swap is unverified.

I think it is wise to keep a Throttle body gasket on hand for the next time you want to clean the throttle body gunk. Cheap enough and good for the extra shopping cart nudge to get free shipping.

Thanks, my ETM seems to have just failed on my ‘99 S70 NA. ETS light and stumbling/surging idle. XemodeX is currently out of stock unfortunately. This listing from FCP Euro says software update will be required. There seems to be some conflicting info.. Do you know if this unit needs programming?

I want to go XemodeX but can’t wait much longer. If FCP is a viable option I may try it.
Thanks!

The FCP one is blank, so needs programming. If you buy used off ebay and match NA_NA or turbo_turbo, reports are that you do not need programming
