So I was told all that was apart of the fuel pump itself, I went and got a new fuel pump replaced it and it was super easy. But then a week later car would crank then just very slowly rev down sputter and bam dead. I took it to a garage cause by this point I needed a car to drive to work. They told me it was either the pump or the PEM. After pondering it I thought about it, because my model doesn’t have a regulator. So I thought.. well what tells my pump to work? To send whatever fuel it need to go?, well it would be the fuel PEM which controls all that! Batta bing! Problem solved! I haven’t had a single issue w the fuel since then. So I don’t know what codes those are you are getting but know that just cause a code tells u one thing doesn’t always mean it’s that. But I’m sure if those codes are fuel pump related I’m sure it’s your pump. If you need and help w what to do for replacing the pump holler at me I’m glad to help

Yeah I need help.

Here is what is happening

I have the pump installed but the wiring package to come over to the driver side the sender side I can't get the wires to pass through the tank

I took a another speaker wire and drag the through the tank when I removed the old pump.

Now that I tied that speaker wire to the new pump it just will not pull through the tank.

The whole wiring assembly is stuck. Help?

Okay I'm headed out to home Depot to get a stiff wire so I can basically follow the u-shape of the gas tank in the 2006 Volvo S80 /S60 cuz it's the same fuel pump installation lol. Now I tried to pull the fuel pump wiring over with a standard wire and it got stuck. So I'm assuming from the way the fuel tank looks I have to follow a u shape. Anyone else have this trouble?

Ok, so the stiff wire from home Depot didn't work. I got an electrical wire fishing thing klein tools flat steel electrical fish tape 25 foot thing , from Amazon, and it fed thru the first try!

So , now I have a "connection" again, just have to get the pump wires to feed over pull over to the level sensor side.

I will be more careful this time! I think the trick is the fish tape automatically makes a half moon circle and will hopefully guide the pump wiring the right direction, without getting stuck!

Thanks!
