I am having a devil of a time trying to source rear shocks.
I have searched endlessly all the normal suppliers.
FCP has them out of stock.
Does anyone know of a source that I am missing?
Perhaps there are 2 slightly used ones someone my offer me.
That is what I am down too.
Thanks and good day,
Tommy

...there is another approach... it is work though... You take your rear shock measurements which are:
Length fully extended
Length fully compressed
Type of connection at both ends and diameter of bottom bolt if the bottom end is a bolt-through eye.
Then you search for another vehicle of similar weight that has shocks that match. Keep in mind that the bottom connection if it is an eye designed with a larger diameter - you can use a spacer.
See this short video - this company will find a shock for you base on measurements:

Be aware that Volvo is not on their list BUT maybe they can help you base on measurements as explained in their video.
I have done the leg-work myself once for a 2008 XC70 - I forgot what was matching but it seem that I had found a Jeep model year front shock that was a perfect match...

I'm pretty positive I have those Sachs part numbers in one of my posts from 2020. You can either look yourself or wait until I find it tomorrow afternoon. Sorry about that; pretty late and I'm wasting precious sleep time.

AFAIK, the challenge with these shocks is that one of the end mounting holes is not set at exactly 90 degrees to the piston rod. That means that another shock of the correct length, etc. doesn't fit and work.
I was lucky enough to find a NOS Sachs set on eBay but here are my notes for possible alternatives:
Stock Volvo rear shocks:
-Green 9140472-5 (Non-Nivomat). Compressed/Extended: 12.375”-19.25” (315mm-489mm)
Installed: Sachs Super Touring 124-816 NOS rear shocks.
2014-2018 ford transit connect. 11.77-18.03”
Bilstien B6 24-272452
Mid 90’s Mazda MPV shocks? 13.375-21.25”
