1999 S70 - Water Pump, Timing Belt - P0014

If you aren’t removing the VVT Hub , you don’t need the cam lock tool. Set the crank to the timing mark ( not TDC), set cam gears to the marks with them clocked clockwise ( exhaust only on your 1999, the intake is a hard gear)

Install belt , then turn it over a full revolution. Check marks.

It’s tight tolerance, one tooth only, to keep the P0014 code off

Is the car a non-turbo or turbo? I may have missed the details I have read, but I can't see it mentioned. NA/non-turbo is an intake CVVT solenoid, Turbo is an exhaust CVVT solenoid if a 1999 is the same as a 2000.

He’s a turbo. If you look at the pix he is exhaust VVT.
